The Adult Day Services Program is a very affordable program in which participants can use from one to five days per week, depending upon need. A licensed nurse is available and wellness checks are conducted regularly.

The first day of arranged Adult Day Services is free, with no obligation.

Activities: Scheduled and structured throughout the day, both cognitive and light physical exercises are included, as well as social and recreational activities provided.

Who qualifies: Participants who meet his/her own bathroom needs independently or receive minimal assistance. Participant must be ambulatory, with walker or cane. If a wheelchair is used, participant must be able to transfer on his/her own.

Participants are screened for appropriateness on free trial day.

Schedule: Hours are Monday through Friday from 9a.m. to 3p.m.

Transportation: We can assist with either in-house transportation or help arrange for community transportation if needed. The Belmont Senior Care van picks up participants in the Pueblo area, if needed.

The BSC van transports from 7:30-9am for pickup and from 3-4:30pm for drop-off.

• $55 per day* with transportation

The HCBS Program (Medicaid program) also pays the full cost for Adult Day Services if the participant qualifies or is already on this program.
